Thanks mate! Im lurking here quite some time, but wasn’t chance to post something as I still don’t own any leather jacket (not counting some fashion brands ). Now waiting for a great new one from field leathers

Very cool! Hey it does not have to always be leather - just take a look below...

Here it is May 21st, still running the heat off and on at home. Partially due to working from home, but we've had a really extended jacket season this year in the Midwest US. Looks like today and tomorrow are it as it will be up into the 80's and muggy/humid after that.

So in celebration of jacket season slipping away I put on full Business Suit attire first, really not sure what prompted the grumpy "grin" ...

Then finish off with a Highwayman, still a long way from broken in here:

Have a great Thursday, but do as I encourage not as I do - try to smile! :)

That highwayman is such a great fit on you! Way way better than the premier version.

Thanks - it's the leather itself that keeps it posted in the Classifieds, it just never really "molds" to me like most CXL. I nearly wonder if it's actually a different Steerhide than Horween CXL. Still a nice jacket, but almost baggy in some areas.

Thanks Nick, actually you are seeing a lot of my neighbor's yard there (no fences between most of our yards), each of us on 1/3 of an acre. The smallest yard of any house I have owned. Crazy perhaps, but I have my eye on a farm with over 3 acers of yard, mostly as I want to start working with dogs more.

Great fit on that one in my opinion, much better than the PHM. You should wear this one more often, a classic!

It doesn’t look too baggy in those pictures at least. It looks a bit boxy, but that’s the intended fit afaik. The issues with the leather I can understand, but just judging by those photos I think it looks like a definite keeper.

Doesn't look too baggy to my eyes either. That's the cut, and based on my experience of three of these jackets, you can't do much better than where you are right now. When the hide softens and molds a bit more, I would say you have a perfectly fitting jacket right there.
