Car run today , north of the city. Distance "Restrictions" lift tomorrow apparently !
Jacket is a Simmons Bilt J100 in black goat , as it was a 6C start this morning.
Don't let that blue sky fool ya..to be 22C at a peak late in the arvo ( afternoon !)
Car is an Aussie built 6.3 litre V8 Holden Commodore , the last of them from 2017.
This is my "Sunday baby" and only gets parallel parked where I can see it ( NO JOKE!)

I’m wearing my shearling lined, true 40’s-50’s era HH Goodgal aircomfort, peacocking around my living room. Getting all kinds of side eye and “what the Hell are you doing?” commentary from the ladies in my life. I don’t care. This jacket is legend for me. I spent a very, very long time looking for one like this that fit. Many failures and near misses along the way. Winter can’t come back soon enough. Well maybe not but when it does...

I REALLY love this jacket. One more to go (hopefully this week) and after that, I am done.

There is a very slim chance that jacket will still be in your closet the next time winter rolls around my friend.
The road goes on forever and the party never ends.
Normally I’d agree but not this time. This one combines a lot of elements I sought in other jackets. I’m going to hang my hat on three! No more buying but more importantly...no more selling.

Thanks so much. Ran through around 5 cafe racers before finally finding an ideal fit with this one. Shinki leather doesn’t hurt either!
Yep, not easy. I am still on that journey, but trying to get that fit with vintage racers. That is probably even more difficult than with repros, although some at TFL have achieved that. Once you get that fit all you got to do is keep your weight constant, lol.
