Lost Worlds Rigger, brand new, fresh out of the box. 4oz Horsehide. To commemorate 30 years as a ferryboat captain, I wanted to treat myself so I ordered this Rigger (I’ve been eyeballing this model on the LW website for afew years now).
I’ll do a full review soon (in a separate thread). Just wanted to get a quick pic on day 1 (late afternoon lighting, and it just started to rain, when my wife took this pic).
Awesome jacket, great fit and flawless construction.
I really like the collar on the rigger! Nice thor, enjoy

Aero Hooch Hauler this afternoon. Almost looks too long paired with the Wrangler cowboy fit jeans, but that’s just because they are gloriously high waisted.
I got to say, if you like jacket weather, Sweden is the gift that just keeps on giving. 2 Celsius this morning and I had to bring out the alpaca lined B-10. Much warmer 8 C this afternoon, proper spring temperatures.
Sharp!

I've been eyeing that jacket too, I'd be hard pressed to decide between the Jersey collar or that one! Yours looks great.

Aero marine in russet goat today. Had this in the classifieds a while back but no biters. Really glad that it’s still with me, don’t know what I was thinking.

Congratulation on your anniversary, Thor!

Hard to imagine a better treat, too. Absolutely outstanding and clearly "your jacket"! What a nice addition to your collection.

Thanks @seres and @Tom71 and everyone else who congratulated me on both my new Rigger jacket and my 30 years as a captain. It’s been quite a “ride” as they say (no pun intended!). I was 23 years old when I first took a job as a ferryboat captain, thinking I’d be doing that for a year or 2 and then moving on to some other boat job. Well 30 years later I’m still at it: older, wiser (?) but definitely wearing a cooler jacket (went from the company-issue Wearguard windbreaker to a Lost Worlds Rigger!).
Hope everyone can enjoy the highs (and lows) of a fulfilling job the way I have been lucky enough to.
