Finally got my shirt back after 6 months. Left it with a leather shop so that they could repro it in a larger size (and brown goathide) but they never did. Well, at least it fits me now.

I take the easy route and just set my phone to “portrait” mode.

I'm jealous. Were you on the original order for this jacket or is this something he is still making? I tried to get in touch with Thedi a couple of times, but I've never gotten a response if this jacket is still orderable.

I need to have one eventually.

@marker2037 Thanks. I'm pretty sure that he can make this jacket again. I received it about 1 year ago. Please note that they are still closed till middle of May due to COVID-19. In general, Theodoros (the owner) is pretty busy (12-14 working hours a day) and sometimes you have to send him reminders.

Watching the production of your jacket itself by Dave Himel himself really upped my appreciation for his work and the amazing craftsmanship that is represented there. I am also quite suprised & pleased that you got your jacket so quickly. Enjoy the break-in process, and yes, if you are able this jacket certanily deserves it's own thread.

Thank you all for the Kind comments! I am planning on doing a full review later this week. As you said, seeing it on "Himel TV" really made me look Forward to the jacket even more, and I have not been disapppointed.

Quick snapshot on my way to grocery shopping. Johnson Leather modified M-200. My second jacket I bought (first was Aero Teamster) and now that I lost weight, it finally is a great fit again. One of very few jackets I bought new and wore so much it's actually broken in. Great, great jacket. Can only recommend doing business with @Alan@JohnsonLeather !

Mostly it’s a fit thing- My arms and shoulders are big for my size so the fit is pretttty snug on me, especially in the arms.

Style-wise, upon seeing and wearing it I kinda wish I had gone for a half-belt? Something just easy to wear in different situations.

Of course I feel like TFL answer is gonna be “keep it and buy more!” We’ll see.

Ive read about the hot water treatments before, sounds terrifying heh

Beyond effects to the leather dunno what would happen to the lining (wool and cotton) etc

I really like the stylings of your jacket, and found mine an easy grab-n-go. I know it might be a bit of a nail biter, but if you soak it in the tub for 45 mins it will instantly form to you. Here is a thread for reference...

This is the same CXL jacket 8 mo later...it had alpaca in the body and cotton drill in the sleeves.
