Yes. Schott horsehide. Gorgeous jacket. Back working ICU after 16 years away so shaving to keep face mask seal and head easy to clean in the covid bubble.
Stay safe everyone, this is a horrible disease ❤

After 16 years back in the fire. That’s beyond dedication!!
No one can possibly understand unless they have been there. The work is exhausting but nothing compared to the mental stress going home feeling as if nothing could possibly make you clean again no matter the precautions. The stress of the other shoe dropping at home on loved ones makes you want to quit and run away, but you don’t. I did 43+ years in the ICUs and ERs. This one i fear as never before and i’m not even there in the fray.
God bless and protect you Leither.

Well done and stay safe.
I work in Radiology (public) here in New Zealand. Luckily with the lockdown we seem to have escaped the big numbers of cases that were predicted. Looking forward to getting back to normal.

Thank you for such kind words Bowen and everyone on FL. I was really scared and worried that I'd be too rusty and no good but the amazing team has been so supportive these last 2 weeks and I'm relieved how much knowledge I remember. My thoughts are with everyone who's been affected by this truly awful virus. Please take precautions and stay well everyone. May this end soon. Nick ❤

For the brief moment I was outside of the cave today, the chosen jacket was a Vanson Associates. This was an eBay find I took a chance on a couple years ago and it's turned into one of my favorites. Pardon the awkward selfie.

There's a couple loose threads at the bottom I need to take care of...

Marvel superhero movies been making some dough the last decade +, DC haven't done too badly either; but sometimes the real heroes are the guys you hang out with on internet forums. They have much cooler leather jackets than any cape. God keep you safe, Leither, and Bowen, thank you for your decades of service in ICUs and ERs. You guys are the real deal.

Brooks Cafe Racer from the "Finds and Deals" thread, it's a size 38 but it feels a little too tight when I zip it. The leather is beautiful and the patina is really nice, I'm not sure how old it is but I think this one is one of the early ones if I recall well looking at the embroidered gold label and the smaller talon zippers, any one knows how to date it?

I used a MacBook to post it and didn’t give me an option to change the direction of the pics. Maybe it’s just Apple trying to be difficult.

Today is A1 day - my first day back into the Office since a couple of weeks - not yet a full restart but some important issues

Jacket is made by BRONSON - it's their largest size 44 and fits remarkably well although i'm usually more a 46 guy
Boots are RedWing "Spirit Lake" - pants PikeBrothers

Nice Fonzie - my favourite jacket maker, style and weight. They do tend to fit a size small. It's a pre- '79 jacket, probably mid 1970's.
