There’s just something about slanted chest pockets on a CR that cranks the cool factor up to 10

Thats how it’s done. When I lived in DC, St Louis, Denver, etc. I rode during the winter too. Up to the peaks of the Rockies in the winter, which was effin stupid sometimes but hey, I love to ride.

I might be the oddball, but I like riding in the cold. Ice is another story but otherwise its all good to me with the proper gear. The comments from others alone is worth the ride. I did ride a couple weeks back that my buddy advised against and some spots along the lake he was right, clinchers, but the ride was worth it. I go stir crazy too many days in a row without one.

Riding up the Rockies would be epic!

Working to break in the Vanson Daytona X150 layered up with the thickest hoodie (with a sherpa lining of sorts) I own and a T.

I up vote you to be the model for Vanson. You make the jacket so flattering. Vanson has some really good design, but the pictures on their website site can't do justice. I had a Model B for many years, until it got stolen. The Enfield is still my favorite. From the pictures on their website, I would probably never consider the Daytona, but your picture just shows how cool it is.

Thank you! I have to agree about the vanson models. If I didn't know better I'd pass on their jackets by the pics on the website. Its like a bad 80s shoot. Easyriders magazine without the girls or bikes.

Too bad on the Model B, great jacket! I've never owned an Enfield but its on the list. Same thing though, the pics on Vansons site do nothing for it besides hurt sales.

Wearing my new McCoys Buco J100 - very comfortable, lovely grainy Shinki HH, my one issue is that, at a gangly 6'2, the sleeves are just on the cusp of being too short. I tried on a Flat Head cafe racer a while ago that had the same characteristic. Its not too bad though I don't feel - what do you fellas think?

For anyone outside this forum the sleeves would be fine. I have the same problem with my Bootlegger. I think we all need to get over our sleeve prejudices.

Denim jackets cure me of sleeve length anxienty, for riding style jacket with zip cuff i still like longer sleeve with zip fully seal, for other style i actually now liking shorter sleeve so wrist accessories and watch or even long sleeve shirt cuff shows a bit.
