Came from Minnesota Sports shop made by Butwin. I don't know anything about Butwin other than well known Varsity jacket maker.

I feel like a Pirate. It was a good deal. I knew it was nice condition from the photos. The size is a plus for me in some ways other ways not so. Makes them harder to sell when they fit!

You have a good eye. I agree. New or old, difficult to do better than this. The sleeves are like putting your hand in a pipe. I'll do more about this guy for the police jacket thread.

You'll never believe this: I've been wearing my Type II again today. And yesterday. And I'll be wearing it tomorrow too. The 30 day challenge would be an absolute walk in the park for me with this.

Yes, it fits, I was a little worried. Quite comfortable. A review later after some wear has elapsed. I just got it yesterday.

Pulled out the vintage padded Bates cafe racer today. Blue and white stripes!!
Just found a vintage NOS talon and swapped out the main zip. Maybe it's time for a vintage Bates motorcycle jacket thread?

Nice, mine is finally comfortable, terry the lining took longer than the leather to break in! The lining in this is 15 oz duck cotton, think stiff new carhartt pants
