Nice one. Have never seen that pattern before. What hide did they use for this jacket?Simmons Bilt

What jacket is that?? Super cool!
3.5 oz?
Vintage Cal Leathers jacket. Not sure how old it is. Also not sure if it's horse or steer?
The size "40L" is handwritten inside the interior pocket. The hem hits right at my belt in these photos. Got a short-sleeve tee underneath.

I have very nearly this same jacket, from a member on this forum as well. It's a mid-50's vintage if there are indeed no labels inside. Your lining looks identical. It's super-heavy Horse Hide in my case, and strangely enough still smells quite a bit like a new horse Hide jacket. I should get it back out and wear it a little more often, just such a rare & timelss piece. Looks great on you.
Love that one, is it horsehide?A visit to the Schott store, and I had to try this on for the umpteenth time, a P665. I've tried it on so many times my girlfriend says "your jacket is over here". Such a great jacket! The hide is in a different class of the rest. I touched nearly every other jacket there and the difference really was a mile.

Why are most of my photos coastal ? The "cooling" seabreeze explains that , 32C in the CBD 27C at the coast.
Plus the "view" nudge nudge...you get the drift !
