Btw, I’ve been using Tapatalk to post and upload pictures. Since a week or so, they have restricted high resolution photos to people who pay for the app, which I’m not very keen to do. What other options are there for posting photos?

Works really well! Was a bit on the fence about the bold stitching when you first posted it, but it does look great on you!

After spending it’s inaugural day of real wear on my back yesterday I decided to pull in the straps on the PHWM. The body is somewhat tubular on this jacket (even with my drop sized waist). I’ve pulled them as tight as I can and still allow it to be zipped. Im giving this jacket my full attention until it breaks in and takes my form rather than me taking the jackets form. As much as I want to sport a cross zip today. I’m not allowing it!

Love the fit of the surplus jacket. Cannot fit any better.
I'll agree there, Will. I think the Ike jacket is one of the finest short jacket designs ever made. This one dates to a 1945 contract. The color mismatch with the pants is because the jacket was made of the "new" dark shade drab and the pants, from 1940 or '41. are the old light shade drab.

Thanks,
Michael
