The 40 degree temps and 20 mph wind said it wasn't enough jacket for bicycling so I switched to this one

I believe it is a WWII Army great coat that was cut down to resemble the M-1926 Officer's Short Coat.

I was bit hesitant about the sizing but thought I would throw a bid in when I saw you put it back up for sale on eBay and boy I’m glad I did, the jackets amazing in person the leather is crazy nice photos don’t do it justice I’ve never seen grain like this before on a jacket absolutely amazing , we are having a strange cold wet couple of days in my part of the world perfect jacket weather

Just got the Cockpit USA Award jacket in Navy/Ecru. The jacket is from soft mid-weight horsehide, feels very substantial. Liner is warm, quilted. Two internal chest pockets. I normally wear M, this is L. I will be able to layer. The artificial aging of the hide is subtle. For $158 I am thrilled.

That’s the Schott/Horween right? I just love that color. Very similar to Cordovan but somehow completely different at the same time.

I received mine on Friday. The coating applied to the horsehide appears to age very quickly after a few outings. I agree for $158 I am thrilled as well. Because it's soft and mid weight I'm calling this one my go to Horsehide windbreaker.

Chilly weather has finally arrived in Chicago. Went to work yesterday and it was in the up 60s. Left work and it was in the low 40s. This morning's walk with the dog was 36. I love it!

Boss shearling field jacket. Lighter weight jacket perfect for this weather.

And pulled out the (ill fitting) Carhartt for some yard work today.

Hahaha I know I wore it a ton around the house when I got it but the leather Himel uses needs no break in. This sucker is still stiff as a board!
