Great fit and I love the red stitching! Is this the updated J-100 with the curved back yoke?

First day With freezing temperatures this morning. The Pike Bros Deck Jacket allows great movement when walking, and the pockets are comfortable. View attachment 187810
It’ll be a long while before I can wear my pike Bros. N-1. Such a great winter jacket. It’s super toasty and you are absolutely right about the range of movement and motion. After a certain point in the season that’s all I’ll wear. Yours looks superb. Perfect fit!

Would love to see a pick zipped up and with shirt tucked and zipped
Here you are. It's a 42, the same as my Highwayman. I have a 43 inch chest. Aero size up the shell to accomodate the shearling, so it's tagged a 42 but is a 44 that fits like a 43! Which is fine, as I can layer underneath. It doesn't come across in the picture but the collars a nice off-white/yellow colour.

@dunpynchon that looks great. Most of the thunderbays i’ve seen are cut shorter. That looks like it would be more useful in the elements. If i remember correctly you have a D1 or B6? If so could you compare them for warmth?

oh, and what leather is it?

I had them add an inch to the body length, and also make the strip at the hem the minimum size, which is three inches, to maximize the amount of sheepskin. I’ve had a D1 and it’s about as warm as that, maybe a bit less as the sleeves are moleskin. For real cold it’ll still be my B3 or ANJ4 but for anything above 45f or so the Thunderbay will be fine.
It’s black goatskin leather, which I’m glad I went with, mainly because a CXL Thunderbay would be very heavy. Goatskin drapes well too, CXL might look better, especially after a few years, but for function I don’t think you can beat goat.
