@thor,

That's awesome! My wife tried on my tag size 44 BR B-15c (mod) that fits my 47 inch chest. Her chest was fine, but arms way too long, and abdominal area way too long and baggy. Now looking at B-17 for her.

Thanks. I'd love to help but I have spent many years looking for a vintage shearling lined horsehide jacket in this style that was in wearable condition and in my size. It's a matter of frequently scouring the eBay UK and US listings for as long as it takes. I'm based in the UK and luckily this one came up on eBay UK. It wasn't as I would have wanted it to wear. The shearling lining had dry rot and the mouton fur collar had been replaced badly with black faux fur fabric. So I spent twice what I paid for it having it renovated at Byson Leathers. While they were at it they replaced the internal storm cuffs with period correct replacements and made good some moth damage to the woollen facings. The collar fur I supplied cut from a vintage ladies mouton coat I found in a charity shop. Byson had brown mouton in stock but I wasn't keen on the shade of brown they offered. I can't sing Byson's praises high enough. Their service and workmanship is top quality. I have many vintage and repro leather jackets but now find myself only wanting to wear this one. I suppose I have at last found my holy grail.

Thank you. I've no idea as to the maker as there's no label other than the one stating it's horsehide. Whoever the maker was it's top quality and made to last as it's now in it's 70's and looks to have many years left. More than I have :rolleyes:
