@nick123 is that blackened brown Vicenza?

Seems like Hh121 has the height and build to perfectly full out virtually any jacket he puts on. What a swine! That star is another killer fit

@Mysteryo never seen a Ventura worn like that before (looks like a car coat) and yet it looks dope af on you. Some day I'm gonna need to ask your advice on hats, you only ever seem to sport good ones

I've taken advantage of quite rainy upper 50's weather both yesterday, and this morning to help break in the recently purchased horsehide Morgan Productions 'Morgan Memphis Belle' A-2 I posted the other day :) .

I'm VERY happy that I was able to source another one here in the States from Col. Morgan's widow, Linda Morgan, without needing to order from Japan ;) . These are hands-down the most accurate wartime-patterned horsehide A-2's for the $$ ($436.00 USD in Japan) I have run across in years. :)

The details such as epaulet placement straight over the shoulder and not rolled-forward, pocket placement, 'proper' shoulder width, sleeve circumference / taper, etc., all excellent IMO. Neatly-done contrasting stitching, and solid construction as well. The horsehide is VERY sweet, and is showing grain / creasing nicely for breaking it in from brand-new only over the past few days. I can't wait to have the sleeves shortened a bit, and a nice set of dull 'brick' red knits I have installed.

There is stock up to size 46 showing here for those interested:

I'm fairly certain there is no other stock in the USA unfortunately... ;(

That's the definition of a perfect fit. Looks good and wears equally well with or without layers. That's why I bemoan the mantra of room for layers. Right der^
What I was thinking. This is what everybody wants when they order a custom jacket, and imagine how hard it is to hit that exact size for the folks making it. Amazing, really.

Chilly, rainy day so it’s the G-1 again (plus inflatable life vest and mandatory cup of coffee!). Climbing around the boat maintenance dock first thing in the morning is a labyrinth of sharp metal, oil, grease, diesel fuel, paint, sparks from a welder’s torch, and many other potential hazards to a leather jacket!

Truth be told I sometimes mix you two up!.

But I will add that definitely Mystero has more than one hat, and if one can be botheted to scroll back for enough he can be seen wearing it with his Lukas jacket.

But yeah, we can discuss hats too, if you wouldn't mind. There are a few needed in my future
