Wearing my US Authentic seal brown goatskin G-8 during a walk on a misty, drizzly chilly day (and forgot my baseball cap back in the car! :().
A really well-made jacket that is one of my all-time favorite designs.

Good for lounging in the yard at the end of the warmest day in the forecast.

Love the deerskin. I got a Milco West last year that I liked a lot. It was too small for me, so I gave it to a friend. Been looking for another one since.

That one looks like it could have been cut from the same pattern as mine. There is something unique about deerskin. Too bad it was too small, though your friend may be happy that it was. Good luck on your hunt.

today was bright and hot as hell, BUT I wore my jacket so hard the sky started to get cloudy, # the power of will
I also want to capture the difference between wearing it buttonned and open, wearing it open since the leather has soften a bit it creates that gusset like fold on the front near the sleeve, and the empty neck to shoulder drop collapses and creates some flare on the back since it has piping around the hem the jacket wont drape, I almost always wear my jacket half zipped or buttoned so not a problem, but I guess it is unavoidable unless I wear some scarf, or hoodie or actually get some muscle to fill in the slope lol.

The jacket looks just as great unbuttoned, and those are hardly gussets—just natural, mild folds. I like that the piping retains the silhouette of the jacket. A unique leather jacket.

Greetings All:
Today it’s a Vintage Windward Horsehide courtesy of Tmitchell. This jacket’s condition is amazing, without flaw inside and out and is unbelievable for 70+ years. The hide is thick and supple. Such a time capsule. Thank you Terry for the amazing jacket.
50’s Stetson clear beaver time capsule on top.
Be well. Bowen
