Nice Century of Progress! I have a '33 L00! Dig the jacket too!!
Awesome sir! Love the beard, jacket, tried-n-true jeans, and the guitar...You have character sir![emoji41]
Pics showed up this time. That old Gibson is sure cool! Not too many of those around anymore. But they have done a number of re-issues, it seems. I'm an old blues man. I have a 70s Takamine (Japanese Martin imitation) that I picked up for a song after my apartment was robbed a long time ago, and they got my Martin 00018. The 00018 was a pretty small guitar as is your 33 Century of Progress, but had a big sound as I imagine your old Gibson does. Nothing like the sound of an old steel string acoustic! Of course no comparison. You have a treasure there. Spruce, maple and mahogany, no? Can't quite tell from the photo, but looks like you have some mother of pearl inlay on the neck-fret board. Did you buy it new at the Worlds Fair in Chicago?

Now I see the photo. Super cool jacket and guitar. Maybe the photo not showing up is a browser issue? I'm using Google Chrome.

Not quite that old! I'm a Harmonica player on stage, the guitars at home.
I think it an issue with google photos. I use to put photos. I like it, but has glitches from time to time.
Sounds good! I bought and sold Vintage acoustic guitars for many years. I've ended up with around 30, mostly Gibson acoustics from the 30s. I was very involved with collecting data, documenting pre-war Gibson guitars. Now they are my nest egg. I'm going to a guitar show this weekend to sell a few.
Here is a 1933 in basic black with a Lost Worlds Test jacket.
I actually have a lot more that I could put on if you want

After a couple days drying from a hot water soak.
Nice and great old Gibson with that mother-of-toilet seat fretboard! I bet it sounds fantastic.
