How do you even decide what to leave the house in? They'd find a skeleton lying in a bunch of leather jackets if I had your collection...
This is such a classic Excelled horsehide! This thick, glazed smooth leather. It's probably supplied by Conceria Tris in Italy, whom also supplies to Schott. I currently have a cross zip made from it. Needs a Johnson re-line.Somewhat cooler temps today allowed me to wear my new vintage Excelled horsehide - definitely the shortest I’d ever want to go - but the length is perfect when zipped and sitting in a car or on a motorcycle - no extra leather to bunch up.

Chopper.”
Good minds think alike! Taking my Chopper v2 for a ride today. Was a long wait for the custom remake to happen but Vanson did me right when all was said and done.
Hi Terry
I follow you on YouTube and one of the main reasons I joined this forum. I thought I had a great collection until I saw yours! It is just out of this world.
Me too.M-43. If I could have only one jacket, this would be it. View attachment 186427

Good to see you here. Look forward to seeing/hearing about your jackets.

JMax:Ha, it does cause some indecision on some mornings. And I have been thinking about offloading a bunch of them (a Vanson or two, Classic, Mars, which is actually for sale already, maybe the Langlitz, the IH Type 1 I got from Ton, the one I believe is a Taubers cross-zip...)
In any case, here is what I wore back into work...Perseus's Steed:

I just had to chuckle today. You have a signature chair for your jacket pics. I assume at your work. I thought, i bet everyone stands in the presence of you and your jackets and not dare move your jacket or be stupid enough to try and sit on it. I just envision a WTF moment if they did. Lol
Nice Steed change up today by the way!

Got this nice Willis & Geiger wool jacket off the ‘bay. Has an inner plaid wool lining (basically two layers of wool in one jacket) so it’s plenty warm. Front cargo pockets, side handwarmer pockets plus an inside wallet pocket with button closure. Really a well-made jacket with great styling and high quality construction.
I’ve added a replica RMS Titanic/White Star Line officer’s whistle to make this an “old school” ship captain-style “uniform” jacket.
