Vanson Octagon Chopper doing nice things. Fully zipped and tight at wrist, perfect for riding.

Wore my new Aero Steerhide Bootlegger for the first time today.. as I mentioned before, the leather on this one is quite something. Very pliable from the start, lovely color, about half the weight of the older days steerhide on my HWM and Veste de Rallye, but still vrey substancial. I took the picture below because I was amused by how this Bootleggers sleeves has more creases on the sleeves after 2 hours of wear total than my 6 years old HWM with hundreds of hours of wear... :D Looking forward to breaking this one in further, it's gonna look fantastic! I apologize for the quality of the picture, it's been taken in a hurry, it's late, just came home from a 13h day of work.

I also received a Goodwear Monarch A2 today, purchased from @Davidm in the Classifieds. Great person to deal with, thanks a lot! The jacket is made from reddish brown japanese (I suspect Shinki?) horsehide with incrediblly nice grain. It's labeled size 42, I am a 40" chest and it fits me snug but not uncomfortable. I recommend sizing up in this contract for anyone considering the style. Very happy with the fit, sleeves and body length are as if made for me. Again, just a few snaps, will properly review and take better pictures when I find time.

Very nice Monarch!
JC's A-2s go a size smaller quite often, 'cause he uses wartime WWII period sizes in his A-2s.
Monarch is a trim fitted contract by itself also.
It seems it looks and fits you well on the photos above, congrats with the purchase!

Thanks - very nice!

No problem and thanks. Pretty much the only jacket my wife likes. All my other ones look the same.

The black side gussets are a nice touch, it looks great with he black fur, i like it a lot.

Yes. The jacket has a lot of nice touches, some more subtle than others. I like the inner pocket key ring. Handy.

Man that is such a beauty. I’m sitting here in my own one week old Chopper looking at your photos and I see that I have a long way to go. Mine will never be as beautiful as your octagon Chopper but right now I would settle for comfortable and broken in.

Oh I don't know. Broken in CW Choppers are beautiful. This one still squeaks a bit so I also have more work to do.

Still one of my favorite jackets. It’s not the best leather, or super intricate laser precision stitching, or some crazy design, there’s just something about that color on the Chopper, and the black collar was a brilliant touch.

Haha, I have the same "problem" with my wife with some of my jackets....she hasn't seen the Centinela, yet ;-)
