Sidebar. I’m sending the jacket to Alan so that it can have this Japanese flannel installed as a liner.

Yup, that is the jacket and the collar is fixed. I won't really be able to start wearing it a lot until next week when it starts to melt here. We have had a month long cold snap here with temps well below normal. Winter is still trying to hang on up here.

The back is my favourite part.

Colin,
What an absolutely beautiful jacket, hopefully makes all the wait and aggravation seem worth it at this point!!!
The fit looks spot on, and I love the triple pinstripes which I also have on the back of my Langlitz Cascade.

Just a mood image: Kehoe Cafe Racer Jacket. Made in St Claire Shores, Detroit, MI. Very little known brand that produced great Motorcycle wear. I love the quality of their Steerhide! I have only found extremely sparce information online. Anyone who knows more about Kehoe?

What do you think of the Blattwerk? I have samples of it but its hard to tell what it is like as a jacket. Judging by my samples It seems rather thin and very soft and pliable.

Beautiful jacket!
I once tried on 3 vintage cafe racers in the same store (Schott/ Brooks/ Kehoe) all from the 60s...the Kehoe was my favorite.

What is leather. Never mind, I no longer care. What I do care about is acquiring many more Iron heart heavy 21oz or better denim jackets. I’ve got on a Canadian tuxedo, a Canadian whoa oh tuxedo....

Once you don’t go down the Japanese selvedge denim route you should be alright. I was disappointed to find that selvedge is just a type of stitch, I thought it was some kind of super denim made only in tiny batches by wise Japanese craftsmen, a secret handed down through generations. No, it’s a stitch.
