What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Special thanks to my Nordic brother @torfjord for selling me his bootlegger and allowing me to be a CXL Chris Kringle. This jacket is really nicely designed. The Irvin collar is sublime and while it's about 1" shorter in the body (25.5) and 1/2" (26") in the sleeve than my usual specs I think it's a fairly good fit (tag 40"). The fit to me is much more like the classic Aero M/C jacket and less like the other BL's I've owned. There's about a 4" drop from chest to waist giving it a much more V shaped fit. I'm considering a custom build, in a size 42" w/ the exact same specs.

That looks way better on you than it did me! Loved that jacket, but eventually I just thought it felt too big for me. Glad it found a new home (for a while at least [emoji6])!

Tony, most of your BL fits are worthy of the runway. This latest one -- IMHO, not so much. I agree that the time has come for you to aggregate your extensive experience and wisdom to craft an epic, legendary BL that will serve as the benchmark for generations. BTW, such an effort requires a standalone, focused thread.

I asked for the heaviest hide, but think I also requested dark as well. I would need to dig up my order and double check.

Edit: I found my order. I did request both darkest available as well as heaviest
