Just came in. Aero Bootlegger in Russet Vicenza horsehide. The Vicenza leather is rich and luscious, and will look and feel even better once broken in.

The fit is exactly how I personally prefer most of my jackets. And this one, with amazing coincidental sizing that matches my preference, is picked from the Aero sales webpage.

Great jacket . . . love the olive stitching. Congrats!

It is beauty. I have a similar horsehide suede SportClad. Those two are pretty deep in my closet.

I'll do more pics of the jacket. I think I've already done them so I'll get them together.

I have two other Sears Top Line jackets. I'll get them all together for a photoshoot.

I actually got a new suede today. Old and small.

Nothing fancy... Just a relatively rare Willis & Geiger lined cotton jacket with contrasting knits. :) This one is the later version of their NA-1 USN 37J1 flight jacket repro. The bothersome full-length wind-flap of the NA-1 was eliminated, and hand-warmers added to the pockets of this version. Also a sturdy, smooth, cotton shell substitutes the Bedford Cord-type cotton material used for the NA-1, and the knit collar button is absent:

Here's a pic of my now sold NA-1 to compare:

EDIT: Here's an interesting article regarding Willis & Geiger for those interested (although a bit erroneous regarding the A-2  ):

More than 100 years after it began, the most lasting testament to Willis & Geiger’s “Make it Better” formula can be seen on eBay. Though its been nearly 20 years since the company last made products independently, it’s well-worn clothing and accessories frequently change hands on the auction website for several times their original retail price.

Love the way this steerhide breaks in, Aero found a great compromise at this new 3,5 oz weight. Already starts draping nicely.. wish I could say that about my HWM, that 4,5 oz steerhide gives me plenty of joy, especially when I hand over the jacket to friends, but with the few days a month I wear it, I don't think it'll never truly break in..
