I'm sorry but I just find some photos in this thread kind of comical. Anyone else? I suppose I am the only one who sees the humor, but it is good to laugh even if sometimes it's at yourself. :D:p

Well, mine mos def are funny to me.
By the way I’m planning on taking my leave from social media. I’ve got an old school mobile coming my way. Just have to type in all my 669 contacts manually and I’m set.
So don’t worry about me when I don’t post here anymore. I’m outside playing, living the real life and as all of you know, wearing my jackets happily ever after.
But I hope to be posting two or three photos before I leave.
And so you know, I’m gonna miss you all very much.

Yep. I sometimes laugh at this whole site. There are some classic offerings in the suit section too and some extraordinary dogma about what is good taste and what constitutes appropriate golden era versus what is try hard, sad, modern and a failure. No wonder world peace is hard when mere sleeve length can start an online flame war. I just hope I can be less of a prick about other's tastes. But generally the folk around here are very nice.

Well, I'm not sure i want to "like" this post. I understand and support the sentiment, but will miss your contributions.

When my wife asks "what are you looking at?" I sometimes lie ;).

When you start saying "porn" because you don't want to admit you've been caught browsing the Aero site again, that should be a red flag.... ;) :p

What is this one? That main zipper puller is very distinctive.

Looks remarkably good for the money. I've been cruising Bronson's nylons online - very tempted by various MA1s and especially their L2A. I've been warier of their leather, but that looks really very nice. I have a notion that if Bronson found themselves a friendly distributor in Europe and the USA, they could do very well here filling a mid-price market that seems somewhat neglected to date.

You know, pretty much the only one of my friends who understands my fascination with jackets IS a gay man with a moto jacket fetish!

Though we come at it from different directions, we agree on the value of style, construction quality, and personal presentation... And the sheer coolness of leather jackets. Everyone else thinks it's just a crazy affectation. (We'll... it's that too.)

I'm reminded of that line in CryBaby that always cracks me up - when Milton's parents are picketing Turkey Creek and start on about him wearing "clothes obviously designed by a homosexual." A lot of the coolest leather jackets I've ever seen have been sported by gay men. I gather some of the jackets marketed and sold exclusively on the fetish scene, gay and straight, are actually tremendous quality!

Greetings All:
Today it’s the no name xzip. Advertised as buffalo so i guess it is. Pretty pliable and comfy. I just had to have a light colored one to offset all the black and browns out there. I kinda like it.
Up top is a 50s Stetson OR. I do know it’s beaver.
Be well. Bowen

Excelled G-1 again on a cold, clammy, foggy day out in the harbor. The goatskin on this is really quite nice for a “modern” G-1. The jacket is 20 years old so even tho it’s a current-issue Navy flight jacket it has great wear and creasing on the thick, supple, dark seal brown goatskin.
