Some major life changes are keeping me off TFL these days. I will try to make time to at least keep up with this thread and a few others, even if I can't contribute as often.

Today I am enjoying my Sears The Leather Shop crosszip. Definitely not a highend jacket by any means but it is one of my favorites for its fit and comfort. Plus I love the look of this guy.

Just goes to show me I don't have to spend much to be happy.

Have a great weekend, leather fans.

Friend, LOVE that tunneling on the sleeves. Was it a natural wearing process? Or did you do a little magic to get it looking so very cool? If you did your magic to the jacket, by all means, PLEASE share it.

I have a theory that some types of thinner, cheaper leather—while less attractive new—can take on some of the most incredible patina if somebody puts in the wears. This jacket seems like a perfect example of that.

On my way to NYC for Broadway play rocking a raw denim shirt from a company call bull hide it’s a one man operation love it paired with Jl grey bison and some drew logger rough out View attachment 763214 View attachment 763216

Great look overall!

Can´t get enough of that bison jacket!

I find Manhattan generally a good place to rock your leathers and denims. While I can go for years in my hood without anybody even noticing what people wear, I have gotton remarks (all positive) from three different strangers on the one morning stroll I did with my then brand-new 618HH.

Thanks gentlemen.

Like my Aero which has incredible patina as well, I can't take credit for this guy's wear. All I can take credit for is buying a cool used jacket!

Besides, this one is too old for me to have bought new.

I came close to making a separate thread ‘hairstyles to go with your leather jackets’ but decided that was pretty silly. I do like following the pics of people my age with an interest in vintage workwear inspired clothing to see how they manage their hair. Thanks to all who include headshot in this thread!

@Peacoat can the profanity filter be removed? It makes no sense.

Imagine owning a size **L jacket in Es***! The scandal!

Nice jacket. Bit of a mash-up between an A-2 and a G-1, but really nice as an everyday piece. Who is the maker?
Thanks @Tom71! It's a Headwind. They call it an A2 Racer, so definitely a hybrid design. I'm liking the buffalo hide and how it is breaking in. I picked it up from @Kunja last year (thanks @Kunja). It's pretty close fitting but moves well and super comfortable. I thought it would be too warm with the knits in milder temps, but that hasn't proven to be the case so far.

Thank you! I like it as well. Buffalo hide may not be the most „lustrous“ leathe, but drape is unbeatable. I like the colour as well. Doesn‘t Get more versatile than that.
