Looks terrific, warhorse? Just like the Eastman air comfort of mine,,that I'm no longer selling, there's a surprise :)

Just their standard goatskin but plenty worn in.

I was looking at your Air Comfort too. Such a versatile, beautiful piece! Good that you’re hanging on to it.

Getting short on cool jacket-wearing mornings..... It just dawned on me that I've owned this Indy Raiders jacket for going on 18 years now..... o_O

This jacket was part of a very limited run made by Todd's Costumes in 2007. Made-to-measure for me by Todd in his California shop, it's constructed from pretty sweet calfskin.... tough, yet quite supple. Much research was conducted by Indy buffs at the Club Obi-Wan forum to get this pattern as screen-accurate to Raiders as possible.... ;) The calfskin was chosen over screen-used lamb for it's drape and durability.

The jacket has been all over the country with me, and has seen it's share of adventure..... Perhaps not dodging huge rolling boulders or running from cannibals, but adventure for me nonetheless.... ;) :)

EDIT: The jacket has held up well over the past 18 years despite A LOT of wear. Truly like an old friend to me..... :)

I have one of those. Came way too small. Like joke small. It was so inexpensive I kept it. I had an Expedition in goatskin too. I didn't think there was much comparison.

Mine was around $350.00 IIRC, which for a made-to-measure / made in the USA jacket was still quite reasonable in 2007 (EDIT: I'm pretty sure the price went up to $500.00 after the initial run). I forget the exact number of that initial run (EDIT: I believe they were called a "Todd's Custom"), but it wasn't many before the list was closed. Todd went on to have inexpensive, but similarly patterned versions imported for his site, which were very popular... I had one of those as well but sold it....

EDIT: I also had a couple of Expeditions.... One in lamb, the other goat. Excellent, well-patterned Indy jackets constructed to Mil-Specs.. :) I also had Wested-made jackets as well as US Wings. My Todd's Custom above is a much better jacket than any I've owned from either of those makers, which were a few over the years..... ;)

Very late to the party but I recently joined OBi Wan and there is a wealth of knowledge I have enjoyed reading, especially Indy jackets. . I have a US Wings Indy Adventurer jacket.

I thought the same thing its not easy giving a jacket u love and having the sleeves ripped off but i drew it up on my iPad first and looked at it and pulled the trigger
Takes a brave man to do it, but I’d say the risk was more than worth it. Very cool looking.
