Hey guys. Does anyone have any information on this jacket?? It has a tag that is dated 1953 and it’s in German but other than that I can’t find a bit of info on it.

That's Dutch

It looks like a shortened 'Solex jas', which was a leather jacket style named after the Solex which was the brand name of a moped, driven by 'Nozems' (which was how the Dutch called guys with a 'greaser' look)

Oh Dutch ok. I had just bought it and I couldn’t find anything that looked like it or any information at all. I wonder what value it has because I’ll probably resell

How does that (beauty) wear against a Highwayman?

Aero Highwayman? Stock I believe the Chips and Highwayman are a similar wear/fit. I am a 40 in both. That’s what I recall in discussions with TB. Some of the good folks at Aero maybe can confirm.

On my Chips I tapered it down one size at the hem. The fit is less boxy than typical.

I love this jacket. It is the one I most use for work, travel and more formal occasions.

Snow flying here as well. Wool Aero/Christmas camo. That giant light blue box on my porch was left by Amazon with my dogs food in it and a few small packages. Has anyone had this done before? It was like three things. Do they pick these back up? TBH I could use it for storage in my basement I just don’t know what the Hell to do with it.
