What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

These two jackets came on the same day. Both are 1950s Sears. The Wool jacket is very simple, no game pockets, no lining, hand warmer pockets only. Nice fat sleeves you can stuff a lot of sweater in. Great for wearing around the house or out on an errand.

The Childs jacket was a Christmas present in 1959. I bought it on ebay as a Christmas present for my Granddaughter. She will be 5 on New Years Eve. I will have a Hat and other accessories for her birthday.

Thanks for the input guys, I think the "covid - isolation" has been messing with my mind. I am still on the fence here, TBH this jacket just seems to draw a little "too much" attention when I am out & about.

Maybe because it's brand spanking new? or is it because how impeccably good looking the jacket is? Hope it goes to a good home if you move it on and can't wait to see another Eastman Luftwaffe if so

That jacket is too cute with the butterfly’s and I’m sure your granddaughter will love it. That’s a great present!

Eastman Luftwaffe today for the ride to work. A "snap" cool change for us. 10C overnight. To be 38C by next Tuesday.

I only have a few leather jackets, but my Thedi is easily the most versatile jacket (in terms of color and style)

Super jacket and a formidable, well curated outfit alltogether!

I have been musing over your comment how I pull off various styles. I sometimes regard that as a small fault or at least inconsistency of mine. You certainly (and many others here) have your "signature style" that suits you to a "T".

Hum, so one thing I have no debates about are the John Lofgren Engineer boots. These have turned out to be glorious! Even wearing them 14 - 16 hours a day is no issue. I don't know if walking in them that much would be great, but for more general use they are breaking in very nicely. :)
Yeah, they break in so easy. Several mile walks the first week. Jacket looks aces too.

New to me 5 Star Cossack Jacket I picked up in the classifieds here on the lounge. This is marked a size 36. I've never worn a size 36 in my life and though this is mildly restrictive it still is very much wearable with a light t-shirt underneath. I'd say this fits more like a modern 40 or vintage 42. The leather is light, supple and has some really cool grain to it. I'm a fan. I might need to take a closer look at their other jackets.
