It's a modified Brakeman I had from Shanghai when I was living a few years ago. Veg tanned cowhide.

Looks very good.

Wow, this is most wear I've ever seen on a lw. I always thought the topcoat on their hides was so thick, they'd still look like new after 30 years of wear.

I doubt it’s organic... more likely sandpaper as even the wind flap is worn
The leather is nice and soft as a result however..

I was thinking that too, the way the chest pocket piping is still 100% black but above and below is worn through the finish doesn't make sens to me.
Can't believe someone would take a sander to a LW!

Gonna rub in little Kiwi polish.. we'll see what happens.

I Just took another look at the LW website cause I figured this "Easy Ryder" was the same as the "Ryder" jacket but with a different collar, but the Ryder doesn't have the shoulder gussets.
The gussets makes this a really comfortable jacket to wear, way more comfortable then my LW Suburban
This jacket with a traditional collar might be the perfect jacket for me.

I have used Kiwi "Kids scuff" to give a real good look/update to well worn jackets before now.
Admittedly that was my own 20+ years of wear or "patina".
Comes in Black and Brown. All beeswax etc contents.
I also use it regularly on the heels and side of the soles on my Harley riding boots
