Oh well, at least I can wear a brown hat tomorrow.
It is now a two hat day. Fresh from Funkytown to the Emerald Triangle, this Jay Lord super soft velour. Previously modelled by Fruno.
You know it's a good velour when you can feel the soft through a plastic bag. This ranks even with that brown Berg from moon. Which means some really nice stuff.
Thanks Fruno! This one will be on my head for first pitch tomorrow for sure!
Will do!I'm thrilled you like it. It's sooo soft. Wear it in good health!
Killer look !!! Fed IV rocksMoonstone Fed IV on this rainy Korean morning.

Ha! No, not at all, Anthony. Most vintage Open Roads and OR clones that I find in this area of the country are in cattleman creases, and I steam and re-bash most all of them to determine which crease works the best for each hat. For example, I've never found a Dobbs Westward that works very well in a cattleman crease. I just follow what the hat tells me after it is under the influence of a little steam. In the case of this 7XCB, the felt is like clay, so no steam was used or needed when I re-bashed it. It's got to have the most incredible felt on any hat that I've ever handled. All of my OR have a fedora bash ... Should I feel that I've committed sacrilege ?
