Savinelli Etna 320, White Elephant Sahara 5 + Holger Danske Golden Harmony.

The White Elephant Sahara 5 is still a "misconstruction" with its original mouthpiece, so I again attached the half-bent Jean Claude mouthpiece, which has a much better flow and so this combi at least works okay.

But in direct comparison, the Savinelli Etna 320 is top-notch!

I have an open tin of Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired Burley flake that I hadn’t been into in a while & needed to be rehydrated. Instead of laying a damp paper towel over a couple flakes last night I decided to try something similar to what Arnold Schwarzenegger does to his cigars. I brushed both sides of a flake with a tequila Reposado & let the alcohol evaporate before folding the flake into the pipe. It burned uniformly & sweetened up the Dark Fired Burley to my liking. It has me thinking about more flavor by quickly dipping the flake to top it. And not sure how it could be applied to a fine cut or ribbon tobacco, maybe a crumble cake brownie, limiting tobacco choices.

This was a good, solid 1 hour smoke, I tell you!

A Montosa Claro Corona. Filler pure DomRep.

Nice hazelnut and walnut. Already good from the start, after 1/3 getting better and even aromatic. Then constant until the end. Excellent flow! Less nicotine. And all that for friendly 4.50 €.
