Last night was a good one. Padron 1926 #2 Maduro. Very nice cigar. Combined it with some Bookers/rocks. Very nice way to spend an unusually warm Dec. evening here in North Carolina. :eusa_clap
We had a little lunch yesterday for the library faculty here. So since everyone was socializing and enjoying festivities, I snuck down for a smoke.
I had a Cuba Aliados Anniersary, Short. I've been enjoying these since I met them August 2007 at the RTDA show. My friend who works for Reyes Family Cigars, which makes them sent me a sample box earlier this year. These little things are dynamite.
Hoyo Del Arte' out of production for a few years and it burned as even could be. Nice flavor with a little spice and slightly firm draw. Ooooooooooo baby.
Last night, about halfway through my cigar (see above), I found it to be a little plain, so I thought I'd enhance it a bit with a snifter of Cerbois VSOP Bas Armagnac.
