Agreed. The 1990 is the RP cream of the crop.

Yeah gee, I wonder why. lol lol The Sir Winston is a whole lot more full bodied.

The Sir Winston are generally not very strong cigars but the one I smoked is. I have tried a few Royal Robustos and they are really disappointing. I much prefer the old Connoisseur #1 and the Upmann#2.

So I just found a cigar that has been in my Husband's desk for about 8 years. It is in an individual wrapper, no cigar band on it...really a dark cigar, and is very brittle. Can it be "rescued"? Or should I just toss it? I asked Daniel what he thinks, he has no idea...but said if someone here thinks it can be "softened up" to smoke, he may give it a whirl! LOL!!!!!! It is a big cigar 10 incher and diameter of a nickel. (watch it now).....lol!

I have no idea without actually seeing it. If you could humidify it at about 65% minimum for a few weeks then check it out, maybe it might soften up a bit. :huh:

Last night I had an unusual My Father #22. Interesting aroma. Medium body but full flavored blend.

A Riverside blend. A local cigar shop has their own made and it isn't too bad at all. Smooth and draws well, the flavor is a little bland but for $7 it's well worth it.
