What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?

How was the cigar? I haven't tried any of the new Open cigars and most of the reports I've heard have been unfavorable.

It is a good cigar, but nothing spectacular. I think it is comparable to a good quality nicaraguan but not at the level of a perdomo or padron cabinet grade which are among my favorites. Smooth but boring would be my assessment.

I had a Bolivar Cofradia last night. Those aren't going to be around much longer as the factory closed from what I heard. They will still be around but not made there. [huh]

Lit a CAO Lx2 tonight and smoked about a third of it before I threw it down. It's been a long time since I threw any cigar away, but this one just didn't cut it. After that I lit a RyJ short churchill, and enjoyed it until it was too hot to smoke. Had a bit of Laphroaig with the RyJ. Good combination.
