No it is not CC41, But It very similar to the suit you posted. I think it is probably dating around 1938 in my opinion.

I could be wrong though, I will go and have a good look at it!

I think Burton's is now owned by Arcadia who also own Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins and Debenham's...to name a few. It's a huge group, so no wonder there is no indvidual brand identity anymore.

This label shows that it's newer than 1952, because Elizabeth II. became the queen 1952.

No kidding. A quick look at their site and their suits was disappointing to say the least. You made a typo, by the way.

Is there a particular time when Talon zippers were used?

i've seen them (Talon zips) on trousers from the middle 30s to the middle 60s. What's the zip made of?

The suit in question is a Kuppenheimer brand double breasted.

No vent, suspender buttons, a purple-ish satin feel lining in the jacet. The lining is a skeleton style I believe.
I can update with the rise and cuff circumference tonight. The belt loops are slightly dropped.

I'm guessing early 50s, then. At the waistband, above the zip, how does the waistband close? Hook, button or snapper?

The waistband closes with 2 snaps set vertically approx. 1" apart.
There is also a belt loop set right next to the closure.

This has, in my experience, invariably been a sign of the late 40s and early 50s. I don't recall the name of the company that made the snaps, but it's memorable, if i remember aright.
