Hello All!
I found this site just by chance when I was researching the N-3B Parkas. I have to say, I am IMPRESSED with all of you and your willingness to share knowledge and pictures. I decided to join and somehow the Admin let me join!
Just a little about myself, I am from Missouri and am an avid outdoorsman. Retired out of the U.S. Army after spending 27 years. I started building men's outdoor wear in 1995 as I had a hard time affording exactly what I wanted. My "Niche" is Custom Wool & Canvas men's outdoor wear like Coats, Jackets, Anoraks and Vests. The name of my company is Callawegian Stitchery and have been full time with it for a couple years now. I have a website and show examples of what I do, then the customer customizes what they want and I build it. I also do repairs and restorations on outdoor workwear like Carhart, Walls, Key, Ariat and many MANY others. If it's something I am not comfortable doing, I will let you know.
I love outdoor wear and good boots and as you would expect, I , like most of you, have a vast personal inventory.,
