Hey guys. Just purchased this jacket and I thought I give some sizing advice incase anyone is looking at this jacket. This is in regard to the double rider jacket.

I’m 5’9 and 170 lbs. every double rider leather jacket that I have owned or tried on I’ve had problems with. The reason is that a double riders jacket is meant to be form fitting and I’m a shorter guy with an extreme athletic build. I am an avid gym guy and I have extremely wide shoulders and a 41 inch chest and a 32 inch waist. Usually I am in between a size Large and Medium. The L fits my shoulders and chest and the M fits me length wise because of my height and I would always end up deciding if I should struggle in a medium or buy the large and alter the sleeves. This jacket fits my body type in a size 42 perfectly! The length is just right and this is the first time I can zipper up a double rider jacket slightly snug but not tight and wear this jacket the way it’s meant to be. So if you have a body type like mine definitely go for it as the jacket is of the highest quality. More so than my Saint Laurent L17.

Yes! After years of searching, I can’t believe I have found a pattern that fits my body type. I even considered getting a jacket custom made.
