Everywhere from pottery, temples, decorations , cups , jewelry, mosaics... I have seen it in lots of Museums .

Not as much as in Rome but still a well known and used symbol in the time of the Ancient Greek cities.
You probably refer to meandros, this was a widely used geometrical pattern (also used by neonaz_i parties in modern Greece- funny enough their most prominent members have swasti_ka tattoos- and when asked about it they just reply "oh this is an ancient symbol"...). In any case I won't discuss semantics here. Could you please provide a link to the item you posted?

Found it on a militaria forum, item no longer available.

Irrelevant who used the symbol for 12 years or who uses it now.

What is relevant is that it is a very very very very Ancient Symbol with Thousands of Years of History.

I think it's quite relevant, actually lol. I understand your point about its ancient usage but c'mon now.

The jacket is from the ww2 period, it is not a modern reproduction.

Also if some bad dudes used a symbol it does not mean the symbol itself is bad .

So I guess if you come across a swas_tika spray painted on your front door then the first thing you'll think is: "oh, some history PhD candidates expressed their enthusiasm over ancient Rome geometrical patterns"?
I am not a Graffiti fan .

Whatever. If you think that a symbol used by the murd_erers of 60 million people is not relevant then feel free to use it.
"You still think swasti_kas look cool... In a real fourth Re_ich you'll be the first to go"- The Dead Kennedy's

I think the symbol was appropriated , Hijacked by the nsdap but it's real meaning is different and goes far far back in history.

It should be rehabilitated .

Interesting Californian styled by movie star Ronnie Reagan, never heard of him ;) The buttons look wrong and I think the lining was replaced. What do you guys think about this one? If it's all original, it's in great shape.

Size 40 $1500.

Of course there's an old thread on these jackets here though I can't see the pics.

I believe CSC also made this in suede. This example looks unworn. The leather is beautiful. The price is optimistic. You will probably not find a nicer example. Getting more difficult to price vintage jackets, prices are all over the map. Would like to see this one being worn by someone else than Ronnie.

It's a really cool jacket. It's like someone in 1970 asked the question "what jacket can we re-make that will serve the next decade" and settled on this design from some archive.

You're right about vintage, you really have to know the market.

Very unique design for California Sportswear, given the measurements and design I don't know how it fits, a bit longer than a tradition half-belt, with a flare. The curved zipper is quite a task. Looks to have a Talon Sunrise zipper stop, probably 1940.

Goatskin on these west coast jackets is exceptional. They created some beautiful jackets in Goat.
