terry how many jackets do you own!? :)
Too many! I've been slow in selling, out of balance. To me, buying is much easier than selling! I often buy just to have a closer look.

I just posted a real on my instagram page with 4 California Sportswear jackets.

I'm in the mood to sell. I'll post them here. I think I will do a reel on my for sale rack.

Vanson Force size 44 BIN 200 shipped. Beware, these are serious jackets for riding and not for cosplayers like myself, LOl . I owned a size 42 at one time and I think it was one of the heaviest jackets I ever owned.

This is quite nice with the original belt and collar. This is an early 50s California Sportswear jacket. I've found the collars on CSC jackets not that durable, this one looks nice in the pictures. The price is a bit much, perhaps in time.
Yes I have a very similar one to this and the collar is reasonable if a bit flimsy. The belt is much poorer quality though.

I've never seen a IF cross-zip before.
Me neither, only their flight jackets and some western-adjacent designs. Nice details on the inside though and good shape for what I assume is late 50s.

I've never seen a IF cross-zip before.
I've had other IF jackets, but never seen a crosszip. It is much lighter horsehide, not front quarter

40s Grais halfbelt. Pony, wool-lined, crown zipper, 23 p2p, $300.
That is a pretty cool jacket and reasonable.

LA Sportogs CHP size 42 (damaged zipper and lining)

Overpriced atm, I’d throw them an offer.

Don't recall seeing a LA Sportogs in this style. Always good to see something new.

I don't know where is this item being sold (no link provided) but the swa_stika gives me the creeps

Part of history.

Anyways, it is a very very very ancient symbol...... from PreHistory.

It was everywhere in the Ancient Rome, also Ancient Greece.

The nsdap - germans appropriated the symbol for a few years but it is far far far more ancient and with different meaning.

I am fully aware of the history of this symbol. When held by an eagle though, its meaning is quite specific.

By the way I can assure you that it was not "everywhere" in ancient Greece.

Everywhere from pottery, temples, decorations , cups , jewellery, mosaics... I have seen it in lots of Museums in Greece.

Not as much as in Rome but still a well known and used symbol in the time of the Ancient Greek cities.
