Oh! And so sorry to crowd the thread though definitely want to credit Darrell and Busted Hats on the internal work here. Great look and feel. I wish all the pictures wouldn't have loaded sideways and upside down though, hah!

Hello Ian, I am happy to hear that you like your new hat, this was a first for me, I have made a lot of the Indiana Jones Raiders style fedoras and this is the first time that anyone has requested the off center bash. I did do a lot of research on the off center bash for your fedora, I was able to get in touch with Michelle at Herbert Johnson, she is the Master Hatter, she provided the information on how to do the Raiders bash off center so I could get the bash that you wanted on the Indiana Jones Pan Am Clipper aircraft Fedora. Doing the bash off center may sound easy to do, however it is not as easy as it might sound, the felt is blocked on a regular oval and then bashed off center. I discovered a lot working with Ian on the hat that he wanted. Ian's fedora was made with a FEPSA 100% rabbit 130G weight hat blank. I recently purchased a few sable color 115G weight felts to use for Indiana Jones Raiders style fedoras. Thank you Ian, I really appreciate your love for the Indiana Jones Fedoras and your help in the creation of your new fedora. Contact me if you want another hat made, take care and have a Great Week, Darrell

Hello Fedora Fans,

Well it took me a few days to get finished but I have a website now and I checked it out in Google and Microsoft Edge, I enter the web address in the top of the page, it might be hard to find the page since it just went active. Here is the web address, let me know what you think.

Have a Great week,

I never thought about that, I just decided to put up a simple website with an email address so people could contact me if they were interested in having a hat made. I posted links on Instagram, LinkedIn, and FaceBook. Setting up the website and getting it posted took me a couple of days. Do you have any suggestion?

I know I prefer a section with items for sale (multiple pictures of models available)

as well as a buy it now button

If you leave it as is, I'd add a "To order your custom hat contact me at this email"

Or something more than just listing your email
I just made some changes to my website, check it out. If you don't see any change refresh the page. I put web links at the bottom of the page also.
This web page is a starting point, I can always add to it, maybe I should put photos of the 6 hats that I have on Ebay for sale, I could make a Indiana Jones Raiders Fedora 100% rabbit Sable color. I have run out of storage space for completed hats.

That is just the forums editing software (the little link symbol)
Yes, after I ask the question, I started looking at the message posting options and figured it out. I will have to look at my webpage and check that idea out. Hopefully if I get that done the visitors will know how to use the links.

Work on my website will be slow, my wife just had her left knee replaced and I need to driver her to doctor appointments and therapy, she had the right knee replaced last year and this year she decided that she wanted a matching set, this time she is having more problems.

Thank you Sir, so far it has been a bit of fun, she has therapy 3 times a week and working on hats has been a bit of a challenge.

I did manage to get a Sable color 115G rabbit felt blocked, pounced and the next part will be putting a sweatband together, then sew it into the hat, the size of the hat is 7 3/8", another Indiana Jones style fedora, just not set on which movie to go with, a lot of people like the tight front pinch.

Hello Fedora Fans,

Well this hat took me a while to complete, I had to work on when I could get the time with everything else that was going on. This is another Indiana Jones Raiders style hat. This is a 100% rabbit 115G weight in Sable color, hat size is 7 3/8", I tried to stitch the hat band to the hat in the same manner that was used on the original Indiana Jones Raiders hat. The brim is cut in a dimensional cut, brim 2 7/8" front and back with the brim on the sides cut to 2 5/8", the height of the crown on the sides is 5", the crown height at the pinch is 4 5/8" and 4 1/4" in the back. The 2" wide leather sweatband is brown with a white bow, the satine liner has gold piping, the grosgrain hat band is 1.5" wide, color is dark brown. The Fedora that Harrison Ford wore in the Raiders film was a rabbit felt in a Sable color with a dark brown hat band. Here is a few photos of the finished hat.
