Hi all. What’s the score with brim up or down on fedoras? I have two 1940s stetsons which is feels almost sacrilege to wear brim up but my new Stetson I can’t decide.
No rules, or at least you get to make them. Wear the hat as it suits your mood. Sometimes up, sometimes down......it all depends on my mood, and time/place.Hi all. No. I’m not entirely sure who or where Bob isAm I the only one here too dumb to know what that means?
Oh that is one smart hat
Thank you for your thoughts!Incredible how the two pictures convey, or perhaps inspire, different sides of you. The first appearing more pensive and exploratory, while the second seems more extemporaneous and some fatigue though this may be from the increased tilt angle across your brow.
My personal take, you wear both well and the hat looks great even with a casual outfit. A more polarizing comparison might be achieved with the brim down by reducing its tilt angle to parallel with your brow.
