Joao, I'm curious to see how that brim turns out for you. Maybe with a brim that wide, you could give it a pencil roll look.
SR-71, cool old Stetson western. It should fit in nicely in TX. There is a large farmer/rancher population up here who wear their cowboy hats daily. I tried to stop being...
Nice to read all the holiday wishes. Happy Holidays to all. ... oh what the heck, this Golden Era crowd is getting a solid "Merry Christmas" from this lounger.
Mano'Kent, that hat is making me wonder what all the talk is about with those Akubras. Looks cool.
History, great gift idea!
Meterman...
RBH, you beat me to it. My computer is getting slow and shutting down on its own. Anyway,
Justin, you look like the service is treating you well and I'm glad to see you back posting and very well hatted!
Thank you Charlie, like minds... Oh, I also like your trench and hat. Nice color choice on that one. You look your best if not better.
Dh66, It felt great with the overcoat. It just seems complete when I wear that coat and that hat together. If anyone out there is not wearing a hat with their...
Nice array of hats today. I had a great weekend. We went cross country skiing a couple times and also went to the Nutcracker ballet today. I wore the Williams and Co. hommy and compliments were thrown my way. We did have to fight an older lady for our balcony seats (best seats in the house) but...
Joao Encarnado, I do like your style and great pics! They are always great.
Of course I would love some opinions on brims, etc., etc.
Off to play in the aftermath of our recent winter storm. As of now, it looks like around -25 below 0 temperatures with the wind. Somebody, HELP ME!!
Later, gentlemen.
Some very cool hats. I'm off again to push snow soon.
I think that 20X is newer because my 7X (unlabeled OR) Stetson with the exact liner no longer has a snap brim. I believe '60s ORs still had snap brims. It looked like an OR when I found it but is a newer lookalike IMO. I thought it was...
Yes it was nice today. We put up a swag on our house and went across the river to a polka dance and dinner. It was really neat to see the older people walking slowly out to the floor and then transforming into graceful pairs once they started dancing waltzes and so forth.
Brent for me.
I've been hanging behind the scenes a bit but...
Charlie, the B&W pic is really cool, old sport. BTW, that family pic was insane. Brothers of the Brim, unite!
Manfred, the Colonel has a unique brim and a cool look. Well done, my friend.
Many cool hats have been flashed around lately, men. I like it.
Yes, thank you. I really am loving it. Not sure if Lee made these?
Thanks, since it hasn't snowed much, we thought we'd pick up the leaves one more time so I was wearing a good, warm shirt.
Manfred, that Colonel is a special hat for sure.
I know, right? Your commentary always makes me laugh.
I'm sending one back but just got this one in the mail today.
A sand tan Brent. Right out of the box it was a little too roomy and sat on the top of my head. Also didn't snap down because the brim was misshaped a small amount. After a little...
Manfred, glad to hear you are still around. I am not as active on the lounge as I was last winter since I'm working more now.
Worf, that is a perfect hat and jacket.
Kyle, looks like a good all around hat.
Congrats. I think that was a highly watched lid.
I received a Lee that was advertised as 23 inches three times in the ad, but it was far from. I should be able to send it back but will have to pay shipping. I'm tired of paying for others mistakes.
I allso just won a nice looking Brent which I...
If someone touches your hat...step on their shoe and say that they threw you off balance when they touched you without warning.
Maybe that will remind them of rule no. 1 and rule no. 2: (1) Don't touch someone's hat. (2) Don't step on someone's shoe.
