Yeah, dh66, don't you just love our state leaders. The lottery issue really bugs me too. We're losing so much education money to surrounding states (Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida all have it. Mississippi doesn't have a lottery, but they have casino gambling along the Mississippi river.)...
What an interesting thread. I must admit I've never given much thought to Ralph Lauren outside of a few polo shirts I've purchased over the years. But I'll be paying much closer attention from now own. Thanks guys.
Never eaten at an In-N-Out Burger, but have heard it referenced in movies (Big Lebowski in particular). However, I take exception to the notion that Wendy's is the worst fast food burger. The Baconator is one of the finest burgers ever made. I crave them and must have one at least once a week...
I have heard from one of the "stars" who left the show that the producers plant most of those valuable items in the lockers before the bidding starts. Not at all surprised.
Sorry, I personally prefer Regards/Best Regards. I certainly see nothing wrong with it. It's what I often use, as it's not too personal or sappy. Though I'll sometimes use Sincerely.

I wear mostly thrift store clothes today. Call me cheap, but I can't see paying $30-$40 or more retail for new jeans, when I can get the same exact brand for $5 used at Goodwill. Same goes for dress shirts, jackets, suits, and coats. I have purchased Brooks Brothers tailored dress shirts that...
I fail to see how any of this is stealing.
The ketchup is put out there to be taken as needed. As long as you are a paying customer, and there are no posted limits on what you can take, take what you need.
I believe anything discarded as trash is free for the taking.
How can smuggling food...
Actually I'd think we'd taste closer to pork, as they say human flesh has a sweet, pork-like smell when cooking/burning.
I have eaten alligator on many occasions, but always battered and fried in nuggets or strips like chicken, and to me it tastes like a cross between chicken and mild...
