Here's a recent picture of my daughter in what I thought was very vintage-esque makeup. She rarely wears makeup and is only 21, but I thought she did an outstanding job.

Here's a suit I picked up on eBay earlier this week. It hasn't even been delivered yet, so the photo is from the auction . . . had to have it as a nod to my favorite noir-sendup, "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid". Yes, I will actually wear it, somewhere.

I currently live in Alabama but am seriously contemplating a move to the North. Would be nice to live somewhere there's snow every winter and milder summers for a change.
Tonight at Crunk Manor it's Taco Salad : ground beef with taco seasoning on a bed of fresh lettuce, topped with crushed fritos corn chips, shredded "mexican blend" cheeses, sour cream, black olives, rotel, and sweet pickled jalapenos.
