Whew! You folks at Thurston have some mighty pretty leathers! I'm glad I'm going to be wearing one. I've been notified my fit jacket should be delivered tomorrow. Unfortunately, I won't be back to try it on until Thursday.
And it's quickly become my favorite hat. I haven't worn it much, but that's because I'm traveling right now and it doesn't go with my attire.
But of my small but growing collection of hats, it's the best fitting one, by far. Thanks, @Redfokker!
Always the contrarian, my shoes aren't shiny patent leather or buckskin suede supple. But they are considered by many to be "the most comfortable shoes in the world," with a price tag to match.
Anyone have or know about the discontinued Fender 12-string Stratocaster? Someone asked about one on another forum, and as both a Fender aficionado as well as a 12-string fancier, I was intrigued. Then I spotted this beauty and my GAS went into overdrive...
According to the shipper, it's supposed to be delivered today. Except I'm off on business and won't be back until Thursday.
Sterkowski Rabbit Felt Trilby.

It's a tad snug, but I think I can stretch it a skosh. I wanted something in the reddish family and I couldn't resist the price. A Bailey of Hollywood Chesley model. 2" snap brim in Oxblood.
At just $31.31 (a $48.69 or 61% saving) I couldn't pass on this Bailey Chesley. I've been wanting something in the reddish tone, and this oxblood just spoke to me. Should arrive Saturday.
Thank you, @DrMacabre. It appears I'm once again bucking trends. I see most people with wide brimmed hats, and I just kind of like throwing something on my head and forgetting about it.
I don't like it with the brim up, but since it's a snap brim, I like it. I also answered my own question...
So I pulled the trigger today with Carrie at Thurston Bros., and the process begins to purchase an A-2 to my specifications. Carrie does indeed, take a lot of custom care, and seems quite intuitive. I'll be receiving a fit jacket and I've already given her my measurements.
This is getting...
