    Argh! My new hat just arrived! It's everything I wanted it to be. Except the right size. Oh sorry, let me say that it's the size I ordered: Large (7-1/4 - 7-3/8). And I positively swim in it. So, alas and alack, I'm going to send it back and exchange it for a medium. More days to wait... :(

    The second guitar I ever acquired. I traded a pair of stereo speakers for it: 1957 Gibson ES-225. I had to replace the tuning keys and volume and tone pots, as they grew so old they crumbled. It plays like a dream, both unplugged and amped.

    You're right. There's a Goorin's Hat Shop in downtown D.C. (although @belfastboy opines that he doesn't think they're good value). Might be worth a visit just to try some on.
