Hello,
I have decided to sell one of the jackets in my collection which just doesn’t get enough wear.
John, a lover and expert on all jackets sheepskin, has just sold one of these superb jackets and can testify to the quality of the merino sheepskin.
This is one of the earlier jackets Eastman...
For sale
I have an amazing Gordon & Ferguson Field & Stream half-belt dating from early 1940's
The jacket is in superb condition, with only minor wear to the liner and all hard wear in perfect working order.
The horse hide leather in in fantastic condition, showing little wear and is supple...
This used to be my old jacket, lovely old Wilis & Geiger, its actually a size 36, compared to a another original I have, they come up big compared to other contacts.
Nice to see it doing the rounds
My favorite jacket as well. I'll get some pictures of mine up at some point and show you how the hide is breaking in.
Still think this is the most accurate repro of this jacket out there.
I'm after an early pattern M-65 ideally first pattern without the epaulettes in an X-small regular or short.
Though a 1968/9 model with the contrast liner would be my second choice.
Great lookin stuff. Never seen in internal pocket on the lining of the M-1948 before. How do you find them all in such mint condition?
I own 4 or so M-51's from my 'mod' days, not that I had a scooter. Do love them though. It's difficult to find a good size one for a small guy though, I'm 5ft7...
Are you sure this is the same as the 'Victory' hide or the 'Liberty' BK offers. Not being pedantic, just interested if it is in fact the former.
And could you also remind me what you painted the zip on your monarch with, want to do this with mine also.
Here is my Monarch, and the fit is spot on. This is a slim fitting jacket, non collar stand which lies lies low and rotated sleeve seams which make it a bit easier to wear. I asked John to construct this with the 'combat clone' stitching but not the wear.
Though I recieved this...
You'll probably have more luck than with the Buzz jackets. They don't not come in large sizes too often.
The B-15's Eastman make are very good, only quibble, the Eastman stamped Conamr shaped zip. They are also brining out a B-15a using dead stock cloth.
