    Bill Kelso New Breed

Does anyone own one of the new breed of fantastic looking jackets, think I'm going to take the plunge later in the year and get their G&F, an original being the pride of my collection, and his looking spot on. if some one owns one, or any other, would love to hear how them compare thanks

    M-43 Style boots

I used mink oil, and saddle soap, but since have turned to pecards, if I could start again, I would have started with pecards, which would give a nice deep brown to russet shades. But I did wear them about 'naked' before as well, so the suede on the toe darkened up a bit from natural wear, and I...

    Veldtchoen Boots, unknown maker.

So I received them today, and they are as they look in the photographs, striking. The leather at the front is incredibly hard, so I have rubbed Pecards into them as deep as it will go, and waiting for them soak it in. But the main thing is they fit! and have a beautifully aged patina. The...

Interesting use of the exclamation 'HA!' there, wonder in which vain it is meant? But yes field shoe in Dutch, which I believe we're first manufactures being for the army, but this might just be faux history and I'm sue I'll be corrected. I was indeed very luck, pray to Northhampton they fit...

    Veldtchoen Boots, unknown maker.

I don't think they are Lotus, the details are slightly different, I don't know if Lotus' have the, 'V' vamp construction on the sides, or the leather pull tab on the back. I will keep you posted when I receive them, but it's going to be a long weekend, so Tuesday hopefully, but wednesday more...

    Veldtchoen Boots, unknown maker.

Just won these on ebay, been after a pair for a while, listed as a size 8, but think the measurements fit more like a 7.5 UK which is lucky, cause thats my size. They look to be in fantastic condition and some lovely detail, the grain looks so course, and nicely polished out at the toe, really...

    Eastman B-6 'redskin' jacket

It's just cause its an older model, wanted to make sure it's the same process and quality of sheepskin. Always get worried about putting a hole through shearling jackets. But I think I will snap it up. Missed a b-10 by Eastman the other day for £200 quid which I'm a bit gutted about. Thanks otter

    Eastman B-6 'redskin' jacket

I am in the good fortune to be able to buy a Eastman Rough Wear B-6 Redskin jacket, much cheaper than new, but in as new condition. It's an old model, with Talon zips and a slightly 'more generous' cut as I have been told by Eastman. I was wondering if anyone could give me a review, or...

    My New LW Dubow A-2

Just took it out the tub, and let it drain, wrapped it in a towel and tried to put it in the airing cupboard, which was like trying to hide a dead dog, it was so heavy and warm, odd feeling. Anyway the dye from the linning ran quite a bit, but apart fromt that it's just the waiting game...

Beautiful rich colour, like the green stitching, Monarch-esq, nice jacket, whats the leather feel like? Looks soft, but not in a bad way. Nice non-shiny matt look as well.

    My Leather Jackets

Try Good Wear and Eastman, in fact Aero in the UK does one as well I think, but how about a barnstormer that looks more to your taste, Aero's is superb looking, but so's is Buzz Ricksons.
