what to do with my cell phone

I must admit I just purchased one of these actually. I plan on placing it on a no longer working vintage rotary dial phone base. Then I will have a mysterious wireless vintage phone that somehow receives calls from my cell phone...;)

    Vintage Computers

Dang! My computer looks so boxy and boring compared to those...how on earth would you build one of those I wonder.

Do you believe in little green men?

Hmm...he doesn't look at all well...maybe he shouldn't have had that plate of human nachos before traveling so far.

Indeed! Welcome to the Lounge Chaps! I've only been here about three months, but within a weeks time, this place became a daily addiction. There is always a good conversation going on about something interesting.

So sorry to hear about that Art. Though I'm sure you treasure the year you had with Bronze. Hang in there, and know you have the support of everyone here.

Very nice phone on an extremely stylish desk! The clock to the right of it compliments it well.

    Matching hats and professions....

I'm a training investigator, so I suppose the trenchcoat and fedora makes me look like your basic gumshoe from the 40's. Generally though, if I'm wearing my fedora, I'm not working-at least not in the field. You have to blend in, and fedoras aren't the best way to do that generally.

    Most interesting and/or unexpected thing

Ironically, the trenchcoat and fedora garb could resemble a whole bunch of people, from Dick Tracy to Inspector Gadget, to Humphrey Bogart, to just some random guy from the 30's.

    Most interesting and/or unexpected thing

I guess what I've learned is that I'm not the only one under 30. In fact, I find it shocking (in a good way) that I'm not the youngest person here to wear a fedora or listen to phonograph records!

    Conversation: A Lost Art

It is my belief that the cell phone is both an ingenious invention, and a curse. First, the ability to contact a member of your family, a friend, or someone in an emergency (car accident, etc) is simply handy. I'm sure we can all think of times when having our cell phone on us has really made...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I have a confession I must make. I haven't read the fifth or sixth book...and by the look of my schedule, there is no way I could do that in time to get the seventh book and read it before common discussion, media, and what have you reveals the resolution. Don't get me wrong, I have...

DANG! That is one handsome watch and hat there! Well...nothing really special for me today. I'm going to work so it will be the usual company dress-jeans and company polo shirt-no hat:(

Twilight Zone Marathon on SciFi Channel

The Twilight Zone has got to be one of the most fascinating shows ever devised. I place it right up there with Hitchcock's works. The writing and acting was just perfect. I usually watch the TZ marathon that Sci-FI puts on every New Years. I'm sure I'm at the point where I've seen, and...
