I Ruined a Three Dollar Hat!

Very cool indeed. You'll have to tell us how the new perforations, and the absence of the liner improve summer wearing.

    Vintage Phones

I suppose having a touch-tone handy besides a pulse (rotary) is a good thing. I'd prefer to use my rotary more often, but alas, with those automated menus that every place has, you have to have a tone phone available. Still, I think my rotary phone from the 30's has clearer reception at...

    Indy IV (beware... spoiler pics)

Well...I guess that's just a good example of the old saying, "Sex Sales". [huh] Suppose that was definitely a technique to get all teen boys into playing video games (assuming they weren't already).

    How to travel with hats

I guess in today's society, and considering how cramped planes are, I would definitely be afraid to take my fedora off and try to put it somewhere. (Cringe at the idea of another passenger sitting on it, luggage rolling over on it in the overhead) Guess that explains why on my last flight...

Why Do You Need Another Hat.....?

If you happen to find a cure for this madness, do tell me! I'm in the same boat with it being too hot to really wear a hat, yet I'm still looking.

    Indy IV (beware... spoiler pics)

YES!!! I must say that Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is one of my most favorite adventure computer games of all time. This kind of game was great; back before Tomb Raider made game developers walk away from good plots and Dialog and turn instead to jumping, climbing, and shooting.

    Vintage Phones

I have that old ringer style on my cell phone too. In fact, I was in a restaurant the other day and I heard that exact ring on some one else's phone...I thought for a moment that I would have to kill them; cause hey, I have to be the only one with that old style ring! PS-Sefton...

    A Man in a Hat... ?

I guess I think personality. Frankly, fedoras and other hats of yester-year have so much more personality than the modern hats of today. A person can have a fedora built to their liking (felt color choice, brim size, bash style, ribbon style). Next thing you know, you find that your hat...

    Some 1st Hat Questions

Definitely post some pictures. I have had several store-bought generic modern fedoras over the past couple of years. Some have been better than others. I'm in the process of getting my first custom from Art as we speak (one of his new featherweight styles) and can hardly wait (still have...
