Hatsdirect is my favorite I've gotten 3 hats from HatsDirect, and one from David Morgan. I don't feel like I saved any real money going from Morgan's, and the wait wasn't enough shorter that I would buy from them again. Perhaps if they had more color choices available in their Fed IV style... -

Fed IV Akubra's size 63 is exactly what it claims to be, and what most companies would list as a 63. It fits a bit loose on me, which is what I like. Akubras seem to snug up a bit over time, and I've already taken the felt strips out after one week. And no, I don't usually have to order... -

How do you keep your ears warm?
Problem Only problem with wearing a piece of hosiery on your head (besides your friends catching you) is that most of the pantyhose type stuff is fairly slippery, and will help your hat fly off if the wind starts up. Spending many hours driving cattle, herding horses and taking city slickers... -

Nuke's questions J - gtd is right on the money with the 63 Squatter, it would take some shrinking. Doable, but a bit of work. The Campdraft, however, is starting to snug up a bit, and would be pretty close to your size with a good steaming or some heat. I will be enclosing the sizing strips...- frussell

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?
Whippets I'm also a huge Whippet fan, but since I wear a 7 3/4 long oval, they are few and far between for me. I remedied this by having Art make one for me, should be coming in a few weeks. Maybe that will cure the sting of being too bigheaded for most vintage finds. Frank -
