It's a great jacket design and well made. I've worn mine as a winter jacket, layered, but it's got a pretty wide range of comfortable temperatures it can be worn in.
Aero Patrolman #2. Size 40, identical pattern as the first. Nice condition. Overall patina and condition is about the same as #1. Main zip works great.

That's hard to assess unless you're in person, and even then very subjective. Not to mention that Aero uses a wide variety of leathers, so you need to be specific about what you want to compare with. It looks like a decent heavy leather though. No idea how it compares to the heavy CXL Aero uses...
Don't know anything about them, but it looks pretty good. I don't think acetate is the best material out there for a lining, and I wouldn't recommend putting a lot of money into a new lining, but the leather looks substantial. If it fits, for around $200 it's probably a good jacket.
I realize this is a WWII forum, and this is slightly off-topic, but I hope that someone reading here may know the answer.
I recently spotted a nice looking WWI Army tunic on ebay. Didn't buy it, wasn't my size. But I really liked the style. I would like to know of any modern reproductions, or...
Well, I can't say, but if it's not it looks the part enough for me. If it is, it's probably early. They used to be the Transatlantic Company, and have used many different labels over the years, but I've never seen that one before.
Good fit, I bet it will break in beautifully.
What's the difference between the Oxford and the Enfield? I think the Enfield doesn't have a center seam down the back, but otherwise they are very similar.
Glad to hear you like your own jacket, and your disapproval was for another that isn't yours! Enjoy breaking it in and bringing more of that grain out!
There's nothing wrong with it, but if you don't like it, no one is going to convince you otherwise.
It's an expensive thing, you should get what you want and like it.
It does look to me like it's been going through quite a bit of breaking in already.
I have handled many CXL jackets, horse and...
It's the name @jpk_NJ gave to it, I'm sure, in honor of his home state. I don't think it's an official name that Aero would recognize. I do like the pocket design better than the standard Aero Teamster jacket.
