Except for the increased length of the PLU-3, and different collar styles and pockets, are not both jackets the same basic pattern? The Vanson website gives identical measurements for both jackets.
Also, welcome to the Lounge!!
One of my standard "go to" jackets is the Outfitter. It is well appointed for hunting in all types of weather, as I have the heavy-weight full liner and the medium-weight vest. The hand warmer pockets are a good height while carrying a long gun and the collar can be turned up quite high, and...
Ya' know, you guys are causing me to second guess a bit on getting an Aero: having such a heavy jacket and then fiddling with a small, possibly fragile zipper doesn't hold much appeal for me. All of my Vanson and Schott jackets have big, burly zippers. So do the Espinoza's.

Some of these bikes have virtually no adjustment, certainly not enough for the fat Wescos. Back in the old days just about every bike encountered could be rotated an inch or two either direction. The problem with rotating the lever on the ones that do allow this, is that then if wearing anything...
Grayland, I can see you are a "fine eats" connoisseur. :D Funny thing, people never want to try it, don't think it sounds at all tasty, and then can never get enough of the stuff.
Can you by chance offer a wine suggestion to pair with this regional fare? I would ask locally but everyone...
I have a B-3 that comes in real handy when standing around while tending the Big Green Egg smokers on days when it is in the 10°s-20°s F and the winds kick up some. And, as a bonus, after cooking ribs, pork shoulder, or brisket all day, that jacket smells GOOD.........
